Trophies, Medals, Badges & Certificates

Epsom District holds two club championships each year. The main championships are held in the Autumn (usually November) By entering the races for your age group you may win a Medal or a ribbon up to 6th place. If you come 1st in an event in your age group you will also receive a trophy to display in your home until the next championships. Trophies, medals & Ribbons are presented at our club presentation evening, in the following January.

With the spring comes the Sprint championships. The races are of a shorter distance and medals & ribbons are awarded in 1st to 6th places.

Even if you do not win an award you have a good opportunity to improve on your times for all strokes. The Club keeps a record of the times achieved by you at Galas & our own Competitions.

Twice a year we offer you the chance to buy Competitive swimming Performance Award certificates & badges according to the times that you have achieved in each stroke.

These start at bronze level and progress to Silver, Gold and Platinum for both sprint & middle distance. The badges are often sewn onto the club T-bag.

Just before the Autumn Championships we call back all the Trophies so that they can be prepared for the next Victors. At this point we offer you the opportunity to purchase a small memento trophy engraved with your name and the event that you won.
